Tips for Filming Your Show.
Our Sony HD cameras are top of the range and are the same units as used by the BBC and many other TV companys, but it is important to realize that they will only record what they see and the lighting on your stage is very important to the end product.
The best lighting for filming live performances is diffused white light, however we realize that this is not always possible but you should try to avoid the following:

Dim stage lighting effects.
The camera lens will only pick up about half the light that the human eye will, so although it is OK for brief moments, prolonged darkened stage scenes will not make for good viewing on a TV.

Red and Green washes
Red stage washes make it very hard to focus the cameras and green washes will make your performers look like Martians, so try to avoid them as much as possible.
